Making It Easier To Remember My Functions / Aliases

January 31, 2020

INFO

I wanted an easy way to pull up my commonly used functions / aliases, instead of going through my .bashrc file, so I am creating a function that shows me everything in a nice list. I am also adding a description, and an example usage.

Throwing My Bash Functions / Aliases On Any Machine I SSH Onto

January 31, 2020

INFO

I am tired of always having to manually add my commonly used aliases on every machine I connect to, so I found a way to throw them on any machine I SSH onto. It will also remove them after I drop the connection.

CODE

gogo() {
  scp ~/.bashrc $1:/tmp/.bashrc_temp
  scp ~/.bash_profile $1:/tmp/.bash_profile_temp
  ssh -t $1 "bash --rcfile /tmp/.bashrc_temp /tmp/.bash_profile_temp ; rm /tmp/.bashrc_temp /tmp/.bash_profile_temp"
}

January 28, 2020

INFO

Was randomly looking through Thingiverse for things to print and stumbled across a good looking Dice / Mini Holder with a lid that can be used as a Rolling Tray, so I printed it out.

First layer was coming out a tad thin
Added in some magnets to hold it all together
Testing out some rolls
Testing out the magnets strength
